"ED Recovery on Campus" Webinar Series
Universities have a unique role in supporting college students struggling with body image issues, disordered eating and/or an eating disorder. In addition to providing clinical services, staff members also have the opportunity to provide information, support, consultation services and trainings to other campus departments. With this in mind, Hynes Recovery Services has created a webinar series that can assist with these important initiatives. Online presentations will provide guidance to both administrators and clinicians planning to establish and/or improve upon campus-based eating disorder support services within their university community.
“Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center is honored to be part of this important training initiative for the university community. The number of college students struggling with body image and/or eating concerns continues to rise each year. However, we have seen that both administrators and health care practitioners have often found it challenging to identify and subsequently treat those presenting with this clinical issue. Therefore, having a webinar series that is geared specifically for this student population will greatly enhance the ability of each campus to more effectively support those seeking recovery from this potentially life-threatening disorder.”
